Upcoming Tours & Events

Walk to the end of the south pier and climb to the top of the Kewaunee Pierhead Lighthouse!

Our volunteers open the lighthouse for tours a few times a year, sharing the history of the lighthouse and our restoration efforts to hundreds of eager guests.

We are always recruiting volunteers for tours and other events!

VOLUNTEER RECRUITMENT

Watch visitors' eyes light up as they explore the Kewaunee Lighthouse!
Shifts are just 3 hours long, with a variety of duties available.
No experience or special knowledge required!

*** Special guests “Green Bay Mike and Key Club” will be activating the Kewaunee Pierhead Lighthouse as a HAM radio station.

*** Special guests “Green Bay Mike and Key Club” will be activating the Kewaunee Pierhead Lighthouse as a HAM radio station. Many other lighthouses around the USA will do the same and contact each other as part of the celebration of radio in lighthouse history.

Things To Know

1/4 Mile Walk to and from lighthouse

No Restrooms on pier or lighthouse

No Food or Drink in the lighthouse

Visitors must climb stairs and ladders during full tour

Due to the building's historic nature, tours are not handicap accessible

An Unforgettable View

Visitors are able to tour the entire lighthouse from pier-level to the lantern, 45 feet above the lake!

Climb the tower and take in the panoramic views of the Lake Michigan shoreline and the Kewaunee harbor.
